Giving your dog the wrong things to eat can affect their health drastically. In this blog, we are happy to give you the do's and don'ts of feeding your dog, meaning what you should feed your dog and what you shouldn't feed your dog.

Foods You Can Feed Your Dog

When it comes to food, most healthy foods are good for the dog as they are good for us, as well. Although the foods that are healthy are good for pets, too much of a particular food can be harmful to your pet. As with most things, portion control is important. Now let's take a look at some of the healthy foods you can feed your dog.

Foods Your Should NOT Feed Your Dog

We know it can be easy to feed your dog from the table. Your dog is part of your family and who can resist those "puppy eyes"? But, even though they can be hard to resist, it's important that you do, because there are foods you shouldn't feed your dog. The following foods are harmful to your dog and the Pampered Pet strongly reccommends you don't feed your dog these foods.

Does Your Dog Need A Great Groomer?

The Pampered Pet offers our clients within the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks area dog grooming services so your precious pet can be pampered during its stay with a bath and groom. We also are not your ordinary dog boarding facility at the Lake of the Ozarks. We are a home away from home for your pet. We are cage free and kennel free. All of the services we provide are in a loving home with 24-hour supervision. We are a smoke-free home and we treat the pets we care for as if they were our very own because we are a family here at the Pampered Pet. Our dog grooming service at the Lake of the Ozarks includes all natural shampoos and conditioners, hand fluffed fur, blow drying service, kennel free environment, cage free, and relaxing on a cozy bed. We groom all sizes from tiny toys to larger than a Bullmastiff. We also offer a pickup and delivery taxi service when need. If we pick up your dog on the west side of the lake it's $10 plus $2 per mile. If we pick your dog up in Osage Beach it's $15 plus $2 per mile and the toll bridge fee.
