The Pomeranian Breed

The Pomeranian breed is referred to as a toy breed. Pomeranians actually are descendants of large sled dogs and have a fox-like face. They are very active dogs and capable of competing in agility or obedience competitions. Also, they make for a great companion and member of the family. Pomeranians require a higher level of grooming than your average dog. The fur coat can become matted easily if not groomed regularly.

There are certain tips you should keep in mind when grooming your Pomeranian.

Keep a grooming schedule. Pomeranians should be brushed every other day. If not, tangles can develop.
Use the right grooming tools, such as a slicker brush for pulling out shed fur, a spin brush for grooming the coat, and a double sided comb to check for tangles.

We also provide a tax service when needed. The west side of the lake is $10 for pick up plus $2.00 per mile. If we are picking up in Osage Beach, it's $15 for pick up and $2.00 per mile. This will depend on the availability of staff and we do charge for the toll bridge fee as well.
